Helensburgh Art Club was founded to encourage and develop interest in Visual Arts, and Crafts in Helensburgh and District.
The club does this by:-
-- Arranging a program of illustrated talks,lectures, demonstrations and workshops
- Providing courses to develop members skills
- Establishing interest groups to encourage active practice, participation and self help
- Organising exhibitions for the display and sale of members work
- Maintaining close links with similar groups in the local community
- Publishing a bi-annual newsletter for the information of members
-Encouraging young artists by awarding the Young Artist’s Prize at the Annual Exhibition
