During the last two years we have had classes with tuition in general drawing and life drawing. For information on classes that may occur check out our Notice Board

Groups

We run two popular groups, the Portrait Group and the Wednesday Group. Both meet in the small hall of the West Kirk. The Portrait Group meets on Tuesdays form 1.30pm until 3.00pm.  For more information contact either Neil Mcleod, 01436 672529 or Don Womack, 01436 842258.

The Wednesday Group meets between 1.30pm and 3.00pm. For more information contact Audrey Graham, 01436 820583.

In general no tuition is provided at either of the groups, but much support and encouragement is given.

Meetings

A wide-ranging programme of demonstrations, lectures and workshops takes place throughout the winter on Thursday evenings at Helensburgh Sailing Club. These meetings help to widen the knowledge and experience of our members. They are also very social occasions.

Exhibitions

We hold three main exhibitions where members exhibit their work and members of the public can purchases paintings, drawings, sculptures and craft work. The main exhibition is for a whole week in August at the Victoria Halls.  Whilst the exhibitions are well supported by the community who look forward to the event, every year we have may people returning from much further afield. We also hold one day exhibitions in May and December.

Outings

A popular regular event is our annual outing to the Pittenweem Art Festival. We also have other spontaneous events that can be found on our Notice Board.
